Dance Prague (Tanec Praha)
Festival runs June 1, 2009 through to June 30, 2009 Prague and others, Czech Republic This is Prague's International Festival of Contemporary Dance and Movement. 'Tanec Praha' is a charitable institution which exists to enhance and to further develop modern dance in the Czech Republic. It is best known for its flagship festival, in which dance companies bring the latest in choreography from around the world and from within the country. The festival seeks to inspire Czech artists and to present to general public with a distinguished programme of contemporary dance. Collaboration between foreign artists and the Czech dance community forms an integral part of the festival. Themes: Dance
